At some point when I wasn't looking, Smallville kind of took over my life. I love every permutation of Clark/Lex/Lana, they're all equally my faves.

I like both works that are set within canon and canon divergent works. I honestly like when these characters (especially Clark/Lex) still hold onto their baggage but find ways to work around it to be together. Love coming clean about alien secrets and witch powers and confessions of love, especially spurred on by illness. Identity porn and confusion due to supernatural/alien forces is good too.

For sick!Clark, kryptonite poisoning or extraterrestrial illness? Concerning for all parties because Clark is hardly ever ill, maybe leading to secrets revealed or Lana/Lex going all sciencey on him.
For sick!Lex, he similarly never gets sick so I imagine it'd be concerning. Maybe he tries to hide it or doesn't even clock it because he's working too hard/focused on other things. I really like forced caretaking for Lex in particular lol. If you really want to hurt me (positive), Asylum era fix-it/what-ifs?
For sick!Lana, some kind of alien/supernatural illness that they have to figure out could be really cool, but her being the only one who can traditionally catch a bug also presents a lot of opportunity haha. I think Lana is CEO of abandonment issues and may push people away when she's sick, meanwhile Clark/Lex could show her some needed love and care <3. Also -- Lana in the series seems to recover from things so quickly for plot reasons, but if you wanted to give her some lingering issues from ie breaking all the bones in her legs please go for it.

I'm a big fan of sub!top!Clark Kent and dominant Lana Lang but not picky about other dynamics either. Like many Smallville fans before me I am also happy if you want to whump Lex six ways to sunday lol. Lionel trauma, trust issues, mommy complex, getting roughed up by whatever Goons of the Week, all of that and more is appreciated haha.

These brothers are so very near and dear to my heart. I am such a fan of when they are slightly strange and very codependent (but that isn't always obvious to outsiders because of how -gestures- Seto is most of the time). I also like when they can each read the other to an almost ridiculous degree, including some good old silent communication! I would be happy with anything involving them (by which I mean SFW or NSFW) and if you want to do an outsider POV and leave their relationship as "Well that's certainly weirdly close but /I/ didn't see anything and it's none of my business" I do love those sorts of fics as well. I prefer canon or canon-adjacent (if you've seen DSOD you know what I mean haha) fics but if there's an au that really tickles your fancy, by all means put those brothers in situations in other universes!

For scenarios where Seto is the sick one I would love to see how he copes (or doesn't) with being sick while being his usual workaholic self; being forced to be the vulnerable one for once. And I'd like to see how Mokuba takes to caring for his brother. If Mokuba is the sick one I'm always down for Seto only ever showing his soft side to Mokuba; I imagine he's very good at taking care of his little brother (he's had a lot of practice) and doesn't mind doing extra things for him -- though he'd never admit it. If they're both sick, I love some delightful hurt/comfort. Maybe they've both been kidnapped and are ill, maybe it happens right after a kidnapping of one or both of them. They've only ever had each other after all, they both know how to take care of the other.

Why yes the section of Whistleblower with the groom is my favorite what gave it away. Your honor I recognize that Eddie did all that and it was real bad but also can you PLEASE give him a chance universe. He can have a little Waylon as a treat.

I like canon divergent or canon snapshot fics with these two; though I wouldn't turn down a good AU (so long as Eddie is still his same self regardless of universe). I like trans!Waylon and cis!Waylon equally. I enjoy when Waylon has to think quickly on his feet and when Eddie is able to disarm him (literally or metaphorically) in a way that Waylon can't help but be impressed by - and scared of as well.

If Eddie is the sick one, I think it would be an excellent way to explore how he'd react to being taken care of and having to be vulnerable -- and how Waylon would have to work to stay ahead of him even when sick. If Waylon is the sick one, it would make their game of cat-and-mouse even more nerve-wracking (in the best way of course) as he tries to keep one step ahead of Eddie and juggles his illness at the same time. Who knows, maybe Eddie is capable of surprising tenderness; that would make his cruelty even more horrifying when it rears its head.

Maybe they're both trying to escape (because Eddie deserved to try!) when one of them falls ill. Maybe it happens while Eddie has Waylon captive. Maybe they've escaped and then once the adrenaline wears off their immune system relaxes and they come down with something. Maybe it's an AU where Waylon got experimented on a bit before being dropped in and scooped up by Eddie. Whatever you want to go with, I'm game!
