Epidem-Fic Nominations

jamezEpidem-Fic will have two tagsets, one for Freeform tags, and one for Fandom and Relationship tags. If this event runs again in the future, the Freeform tagset will be carried over, while the Fandoms/Relationships tagset will reset.
Relationships
2025 Relationship Tagset
You may nominate 1-10 fandoms with 1-10 relationships.
Character A is sick, Character B is also sick: S!Character A/S!Character B (Fandom)
You may nominate multiple versions of a relationship tag with differing sick characters.
Romantic relationships should be denoted with a slash (/) symbol between the names. Example: S!Link/Zelda (BotW).
Platonic relationships are allowed and should be written in the above format with an ampersand (&) instead. Example: Sick!Phoenix Wright & Pearl Fey (AA).
Solo characters are allowed and should append “Solo:” to the front of the tag. Please nominate solo characters in the relationships field. Example: Solo: Sick!Harry Potter (HP).
If nominating a canon with multiple versions, please choose the version you specifically want to request. Example: Instead of Hunger Games - All Media Types, please nominate Hunger Games Series - Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games (Movies), The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes - Suzanne Collins, or The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (Movie 2023).
If you have a good reason to seek an exception to this guideline, please comment here.
RPF is allowed if the nominated persons are over the age of 18 years old and famous in their own right.
Crossover relationships are allowed. Please nominate crossover relationships in the fandom “Crossover Fandom” and specify the characters’ fandoms in parentheses after their names. Example: S!Jack Frost (RotG)/Elsa (Frozen).
Original works are allowed. Please nominate original works relationships in the fandom “Original Work” and specify the types of characters you would like to request. Genders of characters can be specified in the tag, otherwise it is up to the creator’s discretion. Examples: Sick!Schoolgirl/Her Female Teacher, The King/S!Faithful Knight (gender of the knight would be up to the creator’s interpretation).
Original Works may not be used to box your creator into writing/drawing their recipient's specific OCs.
Please disambiguate all relationships by appending the fandom at the end of the tag in parentheses. This can be an acronym. Piping can be removed from character names to fit the 100 character limit for tags. Examples: S!Dr. Robotnik/Agent Stone (Sonic Movies), Catra/Sick!Adora (SPoP).
Nominations that do not follow the above specifications may be cleaned up or rejected at mod discretion.
Please note that, while characters specified as sick in relationship tags should be sick in the gifted fanwork, characters without specification may or may not be sick, it is up to the creator to decide what is best based on the requested relationship, medium, and freeform tags.

Freeform Tagset
Your creator will match on one freeform tag in addition to a relationship tag, a fandom, and a medium. Freeforms must be related in some way to illness or illness symptoms. You can nominate 5 freeform tags this round. Freeforms will be split up into categories for ease of organization and these categories may be subject to change in the future. If you know what category your tag should fit in, please nominate it with the format Category - Freeform Tag, otherwise mods will do it for you. The categories are outlined below:
Scenario - A short plotpoint or outline.
Scenario - A makes soup for B.
Scenario - A takes care of pregnant!sick!B.
Kink - A concept or fantasy, usually sexual in nature. For the purposes of this exchange, broader than a scenario.
Kink - Emetophilia
Kink - Contagion Kink
Illness - A specific type of illness, a disease or period of sickness affecting the body or mind.
Illness - Common Cold
Illness - Breast Cancer
Symptom - A physical or mental feature as a result of an illness.
Symptom - Sneezing
Symptom - Depression
Freeforms may not generally be fandom-specific. If you can make a good case for your fandom-specific freeform, please comment on this post.
Mods may clean up, combine, or reject freeforms at their discretion. If clarifications need to be made on any freeform tags, they will be asked on this DW comm.
